Sarah Yockey is a teacher by nature and at heart.  She enjoys working with little ones and families, supporting growth and development through play and yoga!  She has been practicing yoga since 2015 and had the pleasure to become fully certified through Breathe for Change’s program early in 2023.  She is now looking forward to providing fun experiences for kiddos and their loved ones through movement, through connection to each other and the breath, and through learning.  She enjoys being able to give children opportunities to recognize their internal strength and calm because she deeply believes that we all have the innate capacity to take care of ourselves and love ourselves and it’s our early relationships to others and to ourselves that shows us how we can do that.  Yoga creates space for kiddos to really get to experience moments where self-care skills like breathwork, visualization and gentle movement are in use too.  Through yoga they’re able to learn new ways to move, have fun and honor their own way of doing things and then feel empowered to be able to do so in many ways off the mat too.
